Hello and welcome to the third instalment of The Journey. Another month has passed and another load of groundwork has been laid – paving the way to paying off my mortgage within 5 years.

What’s changed

The big change this month is that I did not invest in crypto. But! I have earmarked the £500 to invest some time in the future.

With crypto prices continuing to drop in this bear market, I made the decision to hold off on investing more. I can’t see the market changing course anytime soon, so I’ve decided to hold this money until a time when I feel the tides are changing and then I will invest hard.

This may be next month, next year, or even longer, but the longer prices drop, the more money I will have ready to buy in at a low price.

What I have been working on

I’ve been super busy building the first testable version of the new website – Accountable Hub! This was the big reveal by the way so yay! Accountable Hub!

The website isn’t live yet so there isn’t a juicy link to follow, but keep your eyes peeled on this blog and I’ll put it up as soon as version 1 is shipped.

Here’s a screenshot of Accountable Hub in test mode just to get you excited

I’ve also been churning out blog posts, I managed 9 this month which is 1 more than I had challenged myself to write. The two posts about hustle and burnout were very similar so I decided to post them on the same day This meant I had to find another post to keep up my Tuesday and Friday post schedule.

I think the stand-out post for me this month was this one covering my top tips for avoiding burnout and stress. If it helps just one person avoid burnout then I’ll be extremely happy!

Mortgage Progress

Much like last month, there hasn’t been any noticeable progress towards reducing the mortgage balance. I’m still very much in the groundwork stages and laying the foundation for big gains later on in the challenge.

What’s next

For the month of July I will:

  • Release at least 9 blog posts
  • Finish Accountable Hub v1.0.0
  • Invest/earmark at least £300 in crypto

That’s all for now – thanks for reading,
